WS:HDQ / william shakespeare: hung, drawn and quartered
Year:
1996
Format:
physical performance
Project Description

WS:HDQ is a postmodern disarticulation of William Shakespeare that employs combat skills, iambic pentameter, voice-of-the-people, sloganeering and god.

The irresistible force of NYID confronts head-on the immovable, cultural colonising force of William Shakespeare in a sexy extrapolation of muscular and cerebral acts.
